SALT - HUR EXERCISES

Never stepped inside a gym before?

Intimidated by the machines and the crowd?  Don't know what to do? Afraid to injure yourself?

Learn to use HUR machines in ActiveSG gyms with SALT volunteers!

Our friendly SALT volunteers will guide you step by step in using HUR machines — specially designed with pneumatic (air pressure) technology that allows smooth and precise weight adjustments in small increments of just 100g.

These machines are gentle on joints and muscles, making them ideal for seniors or anyone new to gym exercises who wants to work out safely and effectively.

We conduct weekly HUR machines familiarization sessions at various venues, days and times.  Look out for our announcements and polls.  Some of the venues include:

  • Choa Chu Kang ActiveSG Gym

  • Jurong East ActiveSG Gym

  • Delta ActiveSG Gym

  • Ang Mo Kio ActiveSG Gym

  • Heartbeat@Bedok ActiveSG Gym

  • Lakeside ActiveSG Gym

  • Bukit Canberra ActiveSG Gym
